The tournament format for Fall Crown tournament will be as follows:
Combatants should bring their weapons of choice until the semi-finals
4 pools organized by descending precedence. 4 combatants will advance from each pool.
The 16 will be a double elimination tournament. Entrants will be seeded based on their performance in the pools. Ties in seeding will be settled by precedence.
The semi-finals will be 2 combatants from the winner’s list, each facing a combatant from the loser’s list. Combatants from the winner’s list will need to win once to advance. Combatants from the loser’s list will need to win twice to advance. Weapons form will be matched and alternating (if necessary). First choice of weapons will be given to the combatant from the winner’s list.
Finals will be best of 5, with matched weapons forms. All previous losses will be forgiven in the finals. Weapons forms will be alternating choice, with 1st choice going to the combatant of lower precedence. Weapons forms may not repeat until the 5th fight (if necessary). The fifth bout will be combatant’s choice, and need not match.
There are no additional restrictions on weapons or shields.

Additional information: Be it known to all the Populace of the East Kingdom that the Barony of Bergental has claimed the honor of hosting the Crown Tournament to determine the Heirs of Brennan II and Caoilfhionn II to serve as Sovereigns at Pennsic 45. The site is the beautiful Horace Moses Boy Scout Reservation in Russell, MA. Unfortunately, Boy Scout rules do not allow pets or alcohol so the site is dry and no pets.
Those wishing to contend for the Crown may submit their letters of intent must have them in by Coronation 10/3/15 and can do it via this link: http://surveys.eastkingdom.org/index.php/372252/lang-en . If using email or snail mail, the letters of intent must include all of the information below for both combatant and consort:
Years of residency
Letters need to be accompanied by proof of membership with membership number & expiration date that is valid at least thirty days after Crown. TRHs also request that combatants bring heraldic shields for the list trees. If both entrants are combatants, then that should be clearly indicated.
We will have a speed line for combattants and consorts but in order to do this, you must pre-register. It is not necessary for the registration to paid but you must email the registrar that you intend to fight in this Crown so you can get on the list.
